The Perfect Apple Cider Sangria Recipe for Fall
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and honestly, we are so ready for some celebrating! Even though it won’t be a traditional holiday, missing out on gathering with all the family and friends this year. And even though honestly, it still feels like March at times. This year is the weirdest.

ToggleThis week I wanted to test out a cocktail recipe that can be used to make an individual drink, but that can also be made into a large batch for sharing. I think we nailed it with this sangria made with Chardonnay, apple cider, orange liqueur, and ginger ale.
When you’re hosting a gathering, anything you can make ahead of time is a plus. This sangria gets better as it sits so it can be made the morning of your party. It is served out and garnished individually with rosemary and cinnamon sticks so it looks like it took a lot more time to make. This drink is as pretty as it is tasty!
I used Chardonnay in this recipe, because it is slightly dry and balances great with the sweet apple cider, the citrus flavor from the orange liqueur, and the bite from the ginger ale. I use similar ingredients in my Apple Cider Moscow Mule so if you are a fan of ginger, you should give that one a try!
Either way you want to serve this delicious drink, it takes minutes to make. If you are serving this as an individual drink, simply mix the liquid ingredients into a glass with ice. Garnish with apple slices, a dash of cinnamon, a cinnamon stick and a rosemary sprig to make a festive drink.
To Serve a Crowd
If you make this in a large batch, pour the liquid ingredients minus the ginger ale into a pitcher. Add apple slices and a few cinnamon sticks and refrigerate until ready to serve. When ready, pour a serving into a glass with ice and top with 1 ounce of ginger ale (so it doesn’t get flat while it sits). Stir, add a dash of ground cinnamon and a rosemary sprig, and prepare to impress your guests! Enjoy, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
