Maple Cinnamon Fall Cocktail Recipe
This Friday night we had a treat, we were visiting my best friend near Gainesville, Florida and her husband was once a bartender. I put him in charge of making us a delicious concoction, which I usually do when we are together -I’m so glad he puts up with me! He kind of married into this relationship though, my BFF4E and I are a (slightly sarcastic and weird) package. Two peas in a pod 🙂

ToggleHe made a Maple Cinnamon Whiskey Sour with bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cinnamon in honor of the first Friday of fall. Up here in north Florida at their remote home hidden in several acres of woods, it really feels like fall is around the corner for Florida! I know not to get my hopes up that this cooler weather (read: mid-80’s) will continue, but we will enjoy it while it lasts.
His recipe is below, let me know if you try it! For more bourbon recipes, check out the Rosemary Orange Bourbon cocktail. If you like cinnamon, I suggest the Spiced Apple or the Apple Cider Moscow Mule for more great and easy fall cocktail ideas. Enjoy!
