The Best Margarita

The Best Margarita

Easy Three Ingredient Margarita Recipe

The margarita needs no introduction. It’s sweet and salty and tart and delicious. And, after election week, I figured everyone could use a simple and classic drink with tequila. 🙂

Just like the Bloody Mary, this is a great recipe to master. And it is not hard! There are a million ways to make this drink, but most use premade mixers with additives and are super sweet. There is no need when you can make the absolute best margarita with only good tequila, fresh lime juice, and orange liqueur.

Easy Margarita Recipe

Just pour 2 parts agave, silver, or blanco tequila to a shaker or mason jar. Add 1 part triple sec, Cointreau, or other orange liqueur and 1 part fresh squeezed lime juice. Shake well.

Using a lime slice, rim around the top of a short glass or margarita glass. Roll glass rim into coarse salt and fill with crushed ice. Pour in margarita mixture, sip, and repeat! Enjoy!
